  Prompt Response:  One important lesson i learned is that culture and identity shape who we are.Everyone had different experiences and that affects how they see the world.This stood out to me because it helped me understand others better.It connects to my life because i see how my own background influence my thoughts and choices. How important is education in your life right now? Do you think students around the world value school the same way you do? Explain your reasoning.

  Prompt Response:  Education is very important in my life right now because it helps me prepare for my future.I don´t think all students around the world value school the same way.Some may not have the same opportunities or might face challenges.Some just don´t care for school even though they do have access to education. Summary: Today we didn't have this class. Reflection:  Today was a great and easy day.

After viewing your classmates’ presentations, which cultural group did you find most interesting? Explain why. Then, reflect on how this presentation changed or deepened your understanding of that culture.

  Prompt Response:  The cultural group i found the most interesting was Italian Americans.I found it interesting because i didn't know how films and movies could stereotype Italians or in what ways it was shown.It helped me understand how their history and experiences shaped their values and how they could be seen by others but isn't the way they are. Summary:  Today in class we presented our presentations to the class. Reflection:  Today was a quick and easy day.

Prompt Response:  My genuine interest and passion plays a bigger role in choosing a career.If you actually enjoy what you do you'll be more motivated and happier in the long run.Yes,Money is important but if you´re stuck in a job you hate then whats the point it'll just make life more stressful.Doing something you love can lead to success and a better quality of life.
