Reflect on a time when you discovered a new perspective that completely changed how you viewed a person, group, or place. How did your previous “single story” shape your thoughts or actions?

Prompt Response: I used to think teachers only cared about grades and rules, and not about the actual students. That "single story" made me want to not ask for help from any of my teachers. But when one of my teachers noticed I was struggling really bad and took time to check in, I realized that they actually care about helping and my well-being. That completely changed how I viewed teachers and made me more open to building a connection with them.

Summary: Today in class, we worked on a common lit called "The Danger of a Single Story" and answered the questions.

Reflection: Today, I learned that there is never a single story.
