Describe your birth experience. What have your parents told you about the circumstances of your birth?

Prompt Response: My parents told me that my birth was long and an emotional experience. My mom went into labor early morning, and my dad rushed her to the hospital in the middle of a thunderstorm. After several hours, I was finally born at night. They said the moment they heard me first cry, they felt relief and joy at once. My mom always says it was a blessing to have me and was one of the happiest days of her life.

Summary: Today in class, we read two poems about birth

Reflection: I learned that two days later, after giving birth, someone comes in so they can get the name of the baby and have it in the record, and make a certificate.
