Letters 11–16 show how relationships can be full of misunderstanding and pressure. Harpo wants love, but he also wants power. Sofia wants freedom, not control. Reflect on a time when someone’s desire for control hurt a friendship or relationship. What advice would you give to Harpo or Sofia if you could?

Prompt Response: A time when someone's need for control hurt a relationship was when a friend tried to decide everything for me, like who I could talk to or walk with. It made the friendship feel stressful instead of a good, supportive one. If I could give Harpo advice, is that love isn't something you force; it's something you respect. I'd tell Sofia to keep standing up for her freedom, but also explain her feelings calmly so Harpo can understand her better.

Summary:Today in class, we kept on reading the book.

Reflection:  I love how the book can make others feel heard or how others can relate to it at one point of their life.
