Today we discussed why academic writing must reflect your own thinking and understanding rather than relying on artificial intelligence to generate your ideas. After learning about the expectations for authentic writing, reflect on why it is important for students to write essays in their own words.

Prompt Response: It is important for students to write their own essay in their own words because it shows their understanding of the topic their working on. Writing our own ideas help us think more deeply and improve our skills. If we always rely on A.I. to do always do our work we wouldn't learn anything anymore.Teachers also need to know what we can do on our own and if what their teaching is helping us.Writing in our own words makes us unique and become better writers.

Summary: Today in class we watched 2 videos about Artificial intelligence and answered questions about it,then keep working on our assignment on writable, and also finish up our blog posts.

Reflection: Today was a great Friday and easy class day.
