 Prompt Response: The leftover Chinese food is important because it shows the narrator doesn’t really respect her grandma’s culture. It kind of feels like she doesn’t think it matters that much. The author could’ve had her bring something homemade or traditional to show more respect. A time I could’ve done better was when I didn’t really listen to someone talking to me. I should’ve paid more attention because it would’ve meant more to them.
